Vero Beach bomber tied to Mateen posted anti-gay video on Facebook

4:30 P.M. FBI, local police are closing the search of Mateen’s home in Port St. Lucie. They took several boxes and a computer from the 937 SW Bayshore Boulevard home. They also searched three cars in the driveway.

FBI conducted a 2015 investigation into Abusalha’s connection to Omar Mateen, Orlando shooter. Mateen was located about 30 minutes from Abusalha, the first American suicide bomber to strike Syria.

3:29 P.M. The FBI investigated Omar Mateen’s connection to Abu Shala in 2015, shortly after Moner Abusalha was the first American suicide bomber in Syria.

Abu-Salha traveled to the Middle East to train and then returned to the Treasure Coast to recruit, in particular Vero and Fort Pierce. Although he claimed he didn’t recruit anyone, it’s possible that he had contact with Mateen.

3:03 PM A fellow Afghan expatriate claimed that Omar Mateen’s father was not radical

Qasim Tarin said, “He’s clearly against Taliban and ISIS and everything that’s wrong with them.” He appeared on Seddique Mateen’s show and was also followed on Facebook.

Tarin, who lives and works in California, said that he has known Tarin for a while. To his Facebook and all, Tarin is completely against ISIS and Pakistanis, and, of course ISI intelligence.”

Mateen said Mateen had been to Pakistan on a few occasions and that he had had problems with the Afghan government as well.

2:44 P.M. Omar Mateen was the father of The Durand Jirga Inc, a Florida corporation that was established two years ago. This name refers back to a long-disputed dispute over the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan that dates back to the late 1800s.

2:34 P.M. Omar Mateen’s father, Seddique Mateen announced his candidacy to be president of Afghanistan in 2015. e Not in English.

2:26 P.M. Omar Mateen was the father of Seddique Mateen who created the Provisional Government of Afghanistan Corp in March. The company’s address is at SW Bayshore Blvd., where Matteen and his family also own a home.

2/19 P.M. Orlando shooter Omar Mateen bought a home located at 937 S.W. Bayshore Blvd. In a 2013 distressed sale, paid $95,000 for the Post St. Lucie home with a $76,000 loan.

2:02 PM Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Brashaw confirms earlier reports that Orlando shooter had a valid firearm permit.

128 p.m. According to state records, Omar Mateen has a license as a security guard. He also holds a firearms licence. G4S, a global security company with a Jupiter office, posted a newsletter listing Omar Mateen as an employee. The Orlando shooter has yet to be identified by the company.

1:15 PM: Mateen’s shooting rampage followed “Gay Days Orlando,” which is a high-profile party that attracts LGBT men and women across the U.S. The event lasted for a week and ended June 6. Omar Mateen’s father said that his son became angry after he saw two men kissing in Miami a few months back.

12:27p.m. Omar Mateen and Mary Seddique purchased the apartment at 2513 S. 17th St., Fort Pierce in May 2009 for $32,000. It is not known what his relationship was with Mary Seddique. Seddique, however, is Mateen’s last name and that of other family members.

12 :21 p.m. Mateen was a New Yorker. According to public records, he changed his name to Omar Mir Seddique Mateen in 2006.

He is a registered Democrat and he voted twice in 2008 and 2014.

Mateen was married at least twice. e According to records, he was married again by 2013.

Although St. Lucie County records do not show any criminal history, records show that he was issued a Palm Beach County traffic ticket in 2008 for an illegal right turn. According to records, he paid $135 for the ticket.

Officers are on the ground at South 17th Street, from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office to FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Fort Pierce Police Department.

Officials confirmed that Omar Mateen, the 29-year old man who killed 50 people at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, in multiple news reports, was connected to one of the apartments.

The scene is being attended by Ken Mascara, Sheriff of St. Lucie County. According to him, his team arrived at the apartment around 2:30 a.m.
